Afghani Fateer Pyazi
Afghani Fateer Pyazi
I was thinking of making this awesome Afghani bread since long, but somehow it still remained in the to do list so far. Today was a snowy and gloomy Sunday and to cheer up and lighten up the spirits, I decided to make this. But, as hubby dear was also home and he likes to have soups for lunch, I also made a hot bowl of Tomato soup for him. This way, both of us were happy! Needless to say that he loved this flaky and crispy Afghani Fateer Pyazi with dollop of butter and Cranberry Relish.
Traditionally, this very famous bread is made in tandoor or oven. Also. it is made with Maida and yeast and I did not use both of these. Still, the outcome was awesome and it will be made often in our household. This tawa grilled bread is worth trying guys!
