Chili Potatoes
Delicious chilli potatoes is an Indian adaptation of a Chinese recipe. It makes for a terrific snack or side dish. Chilli potatoes are so easy to make, once you learn how to cook it, you'll be tempted to throw it together every chance you get.
I often make it to be served with fried rice. Let's start this irresistible dish.
Ingredients..
1-Potatoes 2(Cut into sticks)
2-Bell pepper-1
3-Onion-1 chopped
4-Tomato Ketchup
5-Chili sauce
6-Soy sauce
7- Cornflour-2+2 tsp.divided
8-Water-1/2 cup
9-spring onion
10-2 minced garlic cloves
11-Oil
Method. .
Sprinkle 2 tsp. Cornflour, salt and red chili powder on potato sticks, heat oil and fry them.
Keep aside.
Now heat a wok and add 2 tsp. Oil.
Add chopped onion and saute on high heat till these soften.
Now add minced garlic and saute for a minute.
Add chopped bell pepper,salt,black pepper and after 2 minutes, add soy sauce, ketchup, chili sauce and corn starch slurry plus water
After approximately 1 minute, add fried potatoes and mix.
Garnish with spring onion and turn off the heat.
Serve with fried rice or chowmein.
