    Strawberry 🍓 Raita



Raita is a cooling and soothing condiment to complement any Indian meal. Summer and raita are kind of inseparable! Raita helps in digestion also because of certain spices sprinkled over it. 

Strawberry is a fruit and fruity raitas are popular among youngsters. For me, fruit as such is preferred but sometimes I make raita and chutney of various fruits just to feed some picky people in my home who would rather not touch certain fruits! 

I added no sugar into my raita but if you like sweet raitas like Pineapple,  go ahead and add some powder sugar.

This recipe is also a perfect Navratri recipe if you are fasting. 


Ingredients:

1. Strawberry chopped 1/2 cup
2. Onion chopped 2 tbsp. (You can skip this if you are making it for vrat)
3. Roasted cumin powder-1 heaped tsp 
4. Red chilli powder 
5. Rock salt 
6. Coriander or Mint leaf for garnishing a
7. Cold water 4 tbsp.

Method:

Mix all the ingredients and garnish. Refrigerate before serving.
