Gajar ki kheer
Gajar ki kheer is delicious and colorful dessert that catches everyone's attention. I had it first time in my South Indian neighbor's house warming function. Instantly I liked it. So, here I'm sharing this delish recipe which is rich in vitamin A.
Ingredients:
- Carrots- 250 gm.
- Milk-4 cups
- Sugar-1 cup
- Green cardamom powder-1 tsp.
- Dry fruits of your choice-3 tbsp.
Procedure:
- Wash and grate carrots.
- In a pot, pour milk and add carrots and simmer on low medium flame till the porridge gets thicker.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder and let it simmer further for another 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with nuts and serve hot or chilled.
