Cauliflower aalu roast



Broccoli  🥦 aalu roast

Cauliflower  is one of the most relished vegetables of winter. It has tons of  nutrients and awesome in taste. This cauliflower or Broccoli roast is a very yummy recipe which is simple yet ticks all the right taste buds! Make it for special occasions or parties, your guests will be all praise for you.

Ingredients:

1. Potato 2 cut into thick long pieces
2. Cauliflower florets 8 cut into big pieces 
3. Onion  3
4.Tomato 2 small
5. Ginger green chillies paste or crushed
6.Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
8. Chill powder 1 tsp.
9. Coriander powder 1 tsp.
10. Kitchen king or garam masala powder 1/2 tsp.
11.  half tsp. Kasoori methi crushed with the help of your palm.
12. Garnish with cilantro leaves.


Method:

1. Fry aalu and Gobhi separately. 
2.Heat 2 tbsp. Oil and add cumin seeds.
3. Add sliced onion and saute till lightly golden.
4. Add ginger green chillies paste.
5. Now add all the spices and a lil water so that masalas are cooked well.
6. Add sliced tomatoes and stir for only 1 min, don't cook at this stage.
7. Add fried aalu gobhi and mix.
8. Cover and cook till done.
9. Add kasoori methi.
10. Garnish with cilantro. 

*Note.... I used red potatoes and did not peel the skin.

I also used the stem and fresh leaves of cauliflower.
