        Til Gud Moongphali Laddu




Makar Sankranti festival is celebrated across India 🇮🇳 by different names like  Holi, Bihu, Pongal etc. Salient feature of all these festivals is use of til Gud. Laddus, gajak and many freshly harvested grains and vegetables dance in the kitchens of India in various ways and fashions.

Here is my easy laddu recipe....

Ingredients:

1-White til or sesame seeds-200 gm.
2-Grated Jaggery or powder- 200 gm.
3- Crunchy peanut butter (unsweetened) 200 gm.

Method:

1. In a kadai, dry roast til on medium low heat till it becomes light in weight, changes color a bit and a nice aroma comes out of it.

2. Cool completely and coarsely grind in a grinder and mix with rest of the ingredients and shape them as a ball.

3. Roll them in a mix of 2 tbsp. Til, chopped Pistachios and rose petals for extra effect, I skipped this time.
