 Green Garlic Chutney




Winter comes and there is an abundance of green leafy vegetables and women of Gangetic planes of India start preparing various types of feast with these star ingredients. 

Green Garlic Chutney is such a celebrity that people who love Garlic go Gaga over it! 😋 
This can be called pickle too if you desire to preserve it for the entire year, you have to add just Mustard oil into it.

This is hubby's favorite and I learnt it from my Aunt-in-law. She added last year's leftover pickles into Garlic leaves and such a mouth watering new Chutney/ pickle was thus prepared. 



 Ingredients:


1. Green Garlic-1 cup
2. Banarasi Red chilli pickle-2 pieces
3. Suran ka achar- 2 tsp.(optional)
4. Lemon juice-2 tsp.

Method:

* Wash and trim Garlic leaves.
* In a Mortar, add all the ingredients and with the help of Pestle,  make a coarse paste.
* Serve with puri and parathas because it specially tastes good with those, but you can enjoy it with chapati and rice too.
